I grew up in a very rural area of Northern Pennsylvania and graduated from Otto-Eldred Jr/Sr High School in 1992. While in High School I was a cheerleader; the Colorguard Captain; a Track and Field Statistician; and part of the Yearbook Staff and the Drama Club.

    It's a Mystery!
Over the next couple of weeks, we will be reading mystery stories in the classroom. We will look at the unique elements of a mystery and use our background knowledge to make inferences and predict the solution to the mystery. Inferences are a difficult concept for our 4th graders. You can help at home by having your child solve riddles, watching mystery shows on T.V., or playing board games such as Clue or Headbands.
    Back to Basics!
We made it through our first week of PSSA testing. :) Now we are going to get back into our normal routine for a couple of weeks. Please watch for homework to come home again every night. Science PSSA testing will be at the end of April.
